Paul Mengert

For more than three decades, Paul K. Mengert has served as President of Association Management Group (AMG), a nationally accredited association management organization with multiple offices throughout the Carolinas. AMG manages and advises several hundred condominium and homeowner associations.

Mengert holds the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designations and is also a Community Associations Institute (CAI) Senior National Faculty Member. Mengert is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and has served as a lecturer at Wake Forest Law School, Elon Law School and Harvard Business School’s Alumni Program at the McColl’s School of Business at Queens University.

Mengert has business experience in multiple industries including housing, construction, consumer services, transportation, aviation, banking, manufacturing and others. He is a frequent speaker at conferences related to home services, professional services and other sectors. Additionally, Mengert serves as a Board Member on the Board of Trustees of the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) and was was recently appointed as Chairman of the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority. Mengert was also one of the founders of Carolina State Bank where he serves on the Board of Directors. He is also a licensed commercial pilot who flies charity and relief mission flights for Angel Flight and others.
