After Paul Mengert studied Political Science and Communications at the University of North Carolina (Greensboro), he obtained a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) certification from the Community Assoiaions Institute (CAI) and later compeleted the OPM program Harvard Business School in 2005.
Paul Mengert has served on the national senior faculty for the Community Associations Institute since the 1990s. He served as President of the Carolinas Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and continues to teach classes about homeowner’s associations for CAI which have been approved as continuing education credits by a number of organizations, such asthe North Carolina Board of Realtors, the South Carolina Department of Real Estate and the California Department of Real Estate.
