Paul Mengert is the CEO of Association Management Group. He founded the company in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1984, which makes AMG something of a touchstone to the city where he was born and raised. He loves his community his life has been in service to it, especially with regards to education. He majored in Political Science and Communications at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro many years ago and, subsequently devoted much of his career to education and training.
To Paul Mengert, AMG is all about education and training, which makes people better stewards of the world. A great many companies have sent executives to Association Management Group’s Management Development Program. That number includes huge companies like Microsoft, Pfizer, and Bank of America. Even AMG personnel have received training through its programs. For Paul Mengert, AMG continues his mission of providing education and training to as many people as possible. He currently teaches classes for the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Charlotte, North Carolina in their Management Development Program, and he continues to teach classes for homeowner’s associations that count as continuing education credits by the South Carolina Department of Real Estate, the North Carolina Board of Realtors, the California Department of Real Estate, the Florida Bureau of Condominiums, and the Georgia Department of Real Estate, among others.
