A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Association Management Group CEO Paul Mengert earned his degree in political science in 1984 before embarking upon a career in housing management. He began his work as owner of Vintage House, a venture that lasted for four years.
In 1990, Mengert moved into the role of National Faculty with Community Associations Institute, an organization that provides the most comprehensive, expert education courses for community managers who seek to increase their skills, knowledge and job opportunities. He has remained a part of their faculty since that time, for more than 26 years.
Professionally, he has added more endeavors to his repertoire. He became President of Seminars at Sea in March 2011, a role he has continued since that time, helping to provide educational cruises for the community association management industry specifically. He also became Director of the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority Board in 2012 and, for the last four years, has worked alongside that North Carolina region’s airport.
Lastly, since 1985, Mengert has worked in the position of CEO of the Carolinas’ Association Management Group, a leader in North and South Carolina homeowner and condominium association management services.
