After more than 30 years heading a successful company, Paul Mengert is leading by example. As founder and CEO of Association Management Group (AMG), Mengert is committed to education and ongoing training to further his own skills, and encourages his employees to pursue the same for themselves. Not only does this assist AMG’s clients, but it also empowers employees to personally invest in themselves.

Put into simple terms, AMG is a management company that provides top-notch management based on experience and training. He has become a highly regarded leader in the homeowners’ association management industry, primarily in the Carolinas, but also nationwide and internationally as a consultant.

Mengert also leads by example in his commitment to the community at large. He believes that it is important to give back, whether you do it personally or through business activity or a little of both. Every year, AMG team members engage in various community service projects to assist those less fortunate and in need, such as annually leading a food drive initiative which distributes more than 1 million pounds of food. AMG supports numerous local charitable and nonprofit organizations.

Mengert himself uses his commercial pilot’s license to assist Angel Flight Soars, a charity that arranges free air transportation for people who need to travel to receive lifesaving medical treatment. He and his wife, May Gayle, have also has lead multiple charity missions to Haiti, delivering needed supplies to orphanages. Through his example, Paul Mengert has made giving back a cornerstone of AMG’s corporate culture.
